Weekend Quotes #4

It’s Saturday and I wanted to continue our tradition of posting Weekend Quotes.? This week I have a few motivational business quotes to help those currently in business stay on track, and those wanting to start one, to get on it!?

?

It’s never easy to do something where you don’t see immediate results.? Take blogging for example.? When you first start out, the most important thing that you can do is put up good content.? Content is the backbone of your site.?

Will you get rewarded for that first month of content, probably not.? You might have people around you that discourage you from wanting to start a business, continue your business or even from succeeding; the important thing here is that you have a reason for doing what you’re doing, you believe in yourself and in that reason.? Success will come with time and hopefully these quotes paint a small picture for you.? Enjoy!

Harold R. McAlindon on leaders:? “The world leaders in innovation and creativity will also be world leaders in everything else.”

Harold Wilkins on achievement:? “The world of achievement has always belonged to the optimist.”

Colin Powell on success:? “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, learning from failure.”

Unknown Author on work ethic:? “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.”

Michel de Montaigne on success:? “There are some defeats more triumphant than victories.”

Author unknown on?hard work:? “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.”

French Proverb on ethics:? “There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience.”

Dwight D. Eisenhower on victory:? “There is no victory at bargain basement prices.”

Heraclitus on change:? “There is nothing permanent except change.”

Peter Drucker on efficiency:? “There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.”

I wish everyone a great weekend!

  • “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.”
I really like that quote, something to think about when things just aren’t as easy as people sometime expect to them to be….

  • Always love to see motivational stuff like this.
I myself love to use Chinese fortune cookies … but these work too.

    • hahaha…yeah, those fortune cookies are great sources of quotes…where do you think I got these from???

  • Not only are all of these quotes motivational, but they’re also sound love advice.
Harold R. McAlindon on leaders: “The world leaders in innovation and creativity will also be world leaders in everything else…between the sheets.”
Harold Wilkins on achievement: “The world of achievement has always belonged to the optimist…between the sheets.”
Colin Powell on success: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, learning from failure…between the sheets.”
    You get the idea.

    • lol…I guess it can work that way, I never really thought about it like that. I wonder, would your fiance feel the same way???

  • “There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.”
I like that one the best. Just sometimes the stairs are uneven. But oh well it makes climbing more fun.
