We are counting down the hour before all submissions are due for the Career Ramblings banner design contest?(see link for contest details).? Last week, we decided it was time to announce our first contest.? What better way to get our community involved, show some creativity, and provide an opportunity to give our visitors some exposure?highlighting their?designing skills than to hold a banner design contest.
The deadline for all entries is tomorrow Monday, February 26, 2007 at 11:59pm PST.? Having it PST time will give those East Coast viewers a few extra hours.? Here’s a little more about the benefits of the contest:
All contestants will have their design?on display with a link to their respective sites?
The winner will receive credit for their work by having a permanent link on our site
The winner?s site/portfolio?will be reviewed by Career Ramblings
The winner will receive a cash prize of $50?

Hope you get a good logo out of this, but I suck at making art, so I won’t be entering.
Yeah, we hope to get a good looking banner, but also want to give the readers a chance to strut their stuff
We’ll be holding some more contest for those of us that our less tech savvy
aww Jane, are you guys replacing the current banner on top? I’ve personally always loved it (- find it to be crisp, clean, simplistic, yet eye catching).
I’m not the least bit tech saavy to participate, but I look forward to seeing others’ contributions!
